First Lyrics!

The lyrics for the first song have been written (just!) and they're looking pretty good although we still haven't come to a decision about vocalists. So the first song is, pretty much, complete.

It's a pretty good milestone to get a complete song ready. We're going to stick a demo version together and also put some vocals down to see how they sound together.

No news on any new band members to flesh out our sound. We have heard that there is a bassist that has just left his band who's seriously into his metal, so we might have to have a chat with him and see if he's interested. This puts us in a bit of a bind with John Heaton, but I think if we're all being honest that John doesn't really want to be a bassist in a metal band as he would be wasting his obvious talents as a singer/songwriter.

Aside from that, we had a very good chat about religion at the last practice and this may be a good starting point for future lyrics as we all seem to be very similar in our views. However, this doesn't mean that you're going to be hearing either Satanic or Christian lyrics from us, just our explorations of religion from the outside as we're pretty intrigued by it all.
